My Background
Art has always been meaningful to me. The first mural I painted was in my child's kindergarten classroom 30 years ago. Everything just fell into place after that because I was doing what I loved for people who embraced my gift. I have a college degree in arts and design.
My Medium
Because I have used mostly acrylics for over 30 years I know how to blend them the same way oils can be blended. I also have been trained and have years of experience with colored plasters, luster stone, palatte deco and high quality stains to give my murals added depth and texture. I have a gift with colors which can sometimes have a mind of their own. Every mural I have ever painted enhances the room it inhabits.
My Inspiration
Nature inspires me, especially trees. My favorite rooms to paint though are for children. I am thrilled at this stage in my life because I have more freedom to paint as well as lots of grandkids to paint for.
